About
Inslee was born in Seattle, Washington on February 9th, 1951 and is the oldest of three boys. His mother was a sales clerk and his father served as a school counselor and football coach. After high school, Inslee continued his education at Stanford University but later left due to financial struggles and got his bachelor for economics at the University of Washington. He finished his education at the Willamette University School of Law where he earned a J.D degree. Between his bachelor and J.D, Inslee married Trudi and later had three sons. From 1989-1993, Inslee served in the Washington House of Representatives where he persistently pushed his agenda regardless of the fight back. Inslee replaced Sid Morrison to become a member of the US House of Representatives from 1993-1995 in Washington’s 4th district and in Washington’s 1st district from 1999-2012. He currently is the governor of Washington, a position he has held since 2013.
